About Carol Erikson
We all wear many hats over the course of our lives ~ so far, mine have included daughter, sister, cousin, friend, Christian, band member, chemist, aunt, singer, wife, consultant, groupie, and mother.
My newest hat says, "Photographer," and "Images that Inspire" are what I seek to create with my camera.
I am inspired by the wonders of creation ... intrigued by light and shadow ... and amazed at man's ingenuity. Seeing things through the lens of my camera makes me see them anew, with a fresh perspective. From my home in East Tennessee, there is much beauty and history within arms length, to enjoy and capture for posterity. I consider myself an opportunistic photographer - that is, I photograph whatever I have the opportunity to photograph! From mountain vistas and waterfalls to cityscapes, flowers, animals, and friends. Every subject has beauty to be revealed, and offers something new for me to learn.
Please browse at your leisure, and check back now and then to see what's new. If you have questions about any of my images, I hope you will let me know - I would certainly love to hear from you!
You can also find me at local art shows and markets, so if you ever find yourself in the Knoxville, Tennessee, area, look me up - I would love to see you, too!
