This image was shot on a dreary morning in February, with a fine misty rain falling steadily, near Middleburg, Virginia. The stone and wood fence and the barren tree each caught my eye, and together they make for a most pleasing composition.

We all wear many hats over the course of our lives ~ so far, mine have included daughter, sister, cousin, friend, Christian, band member, chemist, aunt, singer, wife, consultant, groupie, and mother. My newest hat says, "Photographer," and "Images that Inspire" are what I seek to create with my camera. I am inspired by the wonders of creation ... intrigued by light and shadow ... and amazed at man's ingenuity.
