Artist's Description

The Old Hackney Mill in Farragut, Tennessee, was built in the late 19th century by William Hackney. It was powered by a turbine, and so did not have the usual wheel associated with mills of that day, though it was situated in front of Turkey Creek. It now stands on private property ... this view is through the iron gate.
