Artist's Description

At over 6600 ft elevation, fog is a common condition at Clingman's Dome in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Making my way back down from the peak, I had to stop and capture this Mountain Angelica plant in front of a fog-shrouded hemlock. Beauty is there, even if its not quite what you expected to see.
